  • It’s very similar to other Job Boards you may have used. You simply create an account by supplying some basic contact info and enter your zip code.

    Jobs will be displayed per the search radius you set, using your zip code as the “home” point.

    We provide some helpful links on the Job Board itself to guide you through the process should you have interest in one of our posts.

  • Merchandising jobs posted by Ardent Retail are exclusively “W2” opportunities, meaning you would become an employee of the contracting Merchandising company should you be hired.

  • The Merchandising industry partners with retailers to fulfill many critical needs that help them run their operations.

    This might include stocking product, installing/updating signage and seasonal marketing materials, offering samples of product, or being responsible for the maintenance of a specific store display/department like consumer electronics.

  • There are many different types of Retail Merchandising Jobs (see “What is Retail Merchandising) with different levels of difficulty.

    Basic tasks like stocking displays require only minimal training. Tasks like updating advertising signage require more training and support, and this is provided by the contracting Merchandising company.

    Depending on the type of job, Merchandising companies may offer online or in-person training courses, live phone support, or provide tools and uniforms when necessary.

  • Job lengths and types posted on the Ardent Job Board vary widely and the details will be clearly shown.

    Many opportunities are for permanent, part-time positions that offer a lot of schedule flexibility. Other opportunities, like Sampling jobs, can be as brief as a 1 shift/1 day commitment—with the option to pick up more shifts as desired.

    Jobs like updating store signage or marketing are typically shorter-term and are often tied to seasonal or holiday promotions.

  • The level of flexibility varies based on the job assignment. Many jobs allow you to choose your own hours. Others might be single shifts that you can choose from.

    We strive to bring you a good variety of Merchandising opportunities with flexibility options that meet your needs. However, not all types of opportunities will always be available in all areas, or within your preferred search radius.

  • Ardent Retail Services has relationships with leading Retail Merchandising companies across the US who service brands and retailers you’re already familiar with.

    Should you express interest in an opportunity and ultimately be hired, you would be working either for one of these Merchandising companies or for Ardent Retail Services, directly.

    The hiring company (Ardent Retail or another Merchandising company) will always be clearly disclosed on the job post.

  • Pay policies are those of the contracting Merchandising company posting the job.

    Details of pay rate will be disclosed on the Job Board so you can have full information before expressing any interest or taking next steps.

  • In Merchandising, hours worked are really up to you but will rarely exceed part-time hours limits as set by each individual Merchandising company.

    If you want more hours than are available on one project, you may have the option to apply for multiple projects with the same Merchandiser or apply for a different opportunity with a different Merchandising company.

    We provide a calculation of estimated hours plus weekly pay in the listings on the job board, in addition to the pay rate.

  • Ardent Retail Services works only with Retail Merchandising companies with whom we have a trusted partnership.

    Although the Retail Merchandising industry is large, it runs on old-fashioned business principles of trust, building relationships and keeping commitments. It’s also somewhat unusual in that individual Merchandising companies rarely compete against one another. Instead, we all focus on one goal: Meeting the needs of our clients.

  • Our job board consolidates multiple Merchandising opportunities from various companies, making it convenient for you to explore and apply directly, saving time and hassle.

    Our listings clearly display pay rates, locations, and expected work hours, so you can plan for the work/life balance you need.
